Must Read Before Using Sync Tools:

1. What is a Sync Tool

In the past, if we wanted to work across multiple devices, we could only manually transfer files through external hard drives, USB drives, and other methods, which was inefficient and time-consuming. "Sync tools" are products designed to solve this need. Through cloud-based sync tools, we can easily keep important files consistent and synchronized across multiple devices.

2. How Sync Tools Work

Most sync tools automatically create a dedicated sync "folder" after installation. The sync tool client automatically uploads files in this folder to the cloud and synchronizes them in real-time to every device that has the same sync tool installed, achieving synchronization.

3. Limitations of Sync Tools

When using Eagle with these NAS tools, please ensure your network environment is stable to guarantee files can complete synchronization successfully.
Do not use unlicensed or unofficial sync tools to avoid performance limitations, data loss, or even disputes.

Please make sure you understand the above points before proceeding with the sync tool setup steps below.

Before We Begin

This article primarily focuses on Synology NAS products. Other NAS brands (such as QNAP) may have similar features and can also refer to the setup methods in this article.
