Eagle fully supports syncing your library through Google Drive, allowing you to seamlessly manage materials across multiple devices. Here are the setup steps and important considerations.

Setup Sync Steps

Move library to Google Drive folder
Drag your Eagle library (.library folder) directly into your local Google Drive sync folder
Open the synced library in Eagle
- Launch the Eagle application
- Click "Library" > "Switch Library" in the menu
- Select the library location that has been placed in the Google Drive folder
Access the synced library on other devices
- Ensure other devices have Google Drive client installed and logged in with the same account
- Wait for the library to fully sync to that device
- In Eagle, select the library in Google Drive through "Switch Library"

Important Considerations

Ensure sync integrity: You must wait for the library to be completely uploaded to the cloud on one device before using it on another device, to avoid data corruption due to incomplete data
Disable on-demand download features: Turn off "on-demand download", "optimize storage space" and similar features in Google Drive settings to ensure all files are actually downloaded to the local hard drive
Regular data backup: Even when using cloud sync, it's still recommended to regularly backup important data to other storage media (such as external hard drives or other cloud services) to prevent unforeseen data issues

With the above setup, you can seamlessly sync and access your Eagle library across multiple devices.
