Eagle provides a convenient screenshot feature that allows you to capture and save images directly from other software into Eagle, eliminating the need for cumbersome saving and importing steps.

Steps to Use the Screenshot Feature

Eagle has three built-in screenshot modes to meet different scenario requirements:

Capture Area: Capture a specified area on the screen
Capture Window: Capture a specific application window
Capture Full Screen: Capture the entire screen content

How to use:

In the application or webpage where you need to take a screenshot, press the default shortcut key: Ctrl + Alt + E (Windows) or ⌘ + Option + E (Mac)
Select the desired screenshot mode
After completing the screenshot, the image will be automatically saved to Eagle
You can find the screenshot in Eagle's "All" or "Uncategorized" folder

Customize Shortcut Keys

To modify the default screenshot shortcut key:

Open Eagle
Go to "Preferences"
Find the "Shortcuts" option
Modify the screenshot shortcut key according to your personal preference
