Eagle supports importing folder hierarchies while preserving their original structure. This feature allows you to maintain your existing organizational system when adding content to your library.

Importing Complete Folder Structures

The software supports adding folder hierarchies and their contents. For example, if you have a multi-level folder structure (a parent folder containing multiple levels of subfolders, each with their own files), you can directly drag the entire parent folder to the left sidebar's classification area of the software. This will import the same folder structure and files as on your computer.

Adding Folders to Existing Categories

If you have already created folders in Eagle and want to add a folder from your computer under an existing parent folder, follow these steps:

Drag the folder to the left sidebar's folder classification area
After the import is complete, drag the imported folder to your desired category

Important Notes

Importing large folders may take some time depending on the number of files
All hierarchical structures and file relationships will be completely preserved
You can adjust folder positions and hierarchy relationships as needed after importing
