Eagle is a local application software used to create and save resource libraries of material content. These resource libraries need to be completely saved on the local hard drive for the software to read and display. Please note that Eagle does not have sync functionality, and the product serial number is only used to activate the software with no other functions.

Resource Library Transfer Steps

To use your old device's resource library on a new computer, you need to first back up the resource library from your old computer:

Compress the resource library into a zip format folder: The resource library contains multi-level structures and numerous files, ensure all files are completely scanned before transfer to avoid transfer interruption
Use copy and paste method for backup: Prevent system or hard drive failures during data transfer
Confirm before deletion: After transferring the resource library to the new device, confirm the content is complete before deleting the resource library from the old device

Suggestions to Speed Up the Transfer Process

If your resource library is large in size, you can take the following measures to speed up the transfer:

Improve hardware performance: Using SSD drives instead of HDD drives can significantly improve read and write speeds
Adjust compression settings: When packaging the resource library, select "Store" compression level (package only without compression) to save considerable compression time

If you choose to save your resource library on an external hard drive, please note the compatibility of hard drive formats between different systems:

Using Eagle on New Devices

Install Eagle software on the new device, download from the official website
Activate the software after installation (product serial number can be used on multiple devices without limit)
Through the software menu "Library" > "Switch Library", select your resource library folder
