Introducing Eagle Skill / MCP — Your AI Can Finally Organize Your Library
Dieser Inhalt wurde noch nicht ins Deutsch übersetzt. Wir zeigen Ihnen unten die englische Version.
When was the last time you actually organized your asset library?
Hundreds of untagged images, folders still named "New Folder (2)", a tag system so messy even you can't make sense of it — you know you should organize it, but every time you open it, you give up.
Meanwhile, AI can already write code, build presentations, and draft your emails. But your asset library? It can't even touch it.
Until now.
🧩 What Is This? The Short Version
Eagle can now connect with the AI Agent you're already using.
Just describe what you need in plain language, and AI will do it directly inside Eagle.
Not the kind of AI that just "gives you suggestions" — this one actually takes action. Creating folders, fixing tags, batch updates, auto-categorization — all executed right inside your Eagle library.
This is powered by two new features:
| Eagle Skill | Eagle MCP | |
|---|---|---|
| In a nutshell | Ready out of the box | Connect any AI Agent, maximum flexibility |
| Best for | Users who want to try it right away | Power users & developers |
| Setup required | Almost none | Requires AI client configuration |
👉 We recommend most users start with Skill. Pick one — you don't need both.
✨ What Can It Actually Do? 5 Real Scenarios
Each scenario below can be triggered with just one sentence.
Scenario 1: 🏷️ Tag Cleanup
"My tags are a mess. Fix them."
❌ Before: Your tag list looks like this — "cat", "Cat", and "cats" all mean the same thing. "Logo", "logo-design", and "brand mark" are scattered everywhere. Plus a pile of tags used once and forgotten. Cleaning it up manually? Just finding the duplicates would take an entire afternoon.
✅ After: AI automatically scans every tag in your library, identifies synonyms, typos, and low-usage tags, then presents a cleanup plan: which to merge, which to delete, which to group. Review it, confirm, done.
Scenario 2: 📁 Folder Planning & Reorganization
"My folders are a mess, help me reorganize them." "Build me a folder structure for my design inspiration library from scratch."
❌ Before: Files scattered across "Unsorted", "Assets", "Assets2", "Temp" — finding anything takes forever. You want to restructure, but with thousands of images, you don't even know where to start.
✅ After: AI analyzes your existing assets by content and type, then designs a logical folder structure for you — whether it's reorganizing an existing mess or building something entirely new from scratch. Just review the plan and confirm.
Scenario 3: 🌐 Multilingual Tag Translation
"Scan this folder and translate all Japanese tags to Chinese."
❌ Before: You've collected tons of assets from Japanese resource sites, and all the tags are in Japanese. Look up each translation one by one, then edit them one by one? Exhausting just thinking about it.
✅ After: AI scans all Japanese tags in the specified folder, auto-translates them, and shows you a confirmation list first — review it, approve, batch execute. The whole process takes just a few minutes.
Scenario 4: 🔍 AI Analysis + Batch Rewrite
"Analyze these selected files and update their titles, descriptions, and tags."
❌ Before: You imported a batch of screenshots named "Screenshot 2024-11-15 3.45.12 PM.png" — no title, no description, no tags. Open each one, figure out what it is, type in a name, manually add tags? Do that for 100 images and you'll question your life choices.
✅ After: Select the files in Eagle, say one sentence to AI. It analyzes each image's content and auto-generates semantic filenames (e.g., "Nike-Sneaker-Ad-Red-Colorway-Landscape"), detailed descriptions, and smart tags. Batch processed in minutes.
Scenario 5: 🤖 AI Agent Autonomously Harvests Images from Websites (The Grand Finale!)
"Here's a list of websites I love. Each page has tons of images. Analyze all the images from these URLs and add them to my Eagle library one by one."
❌ Before: You find a great design website, but you can only open each page, right-click to save images, drag them into Eagle, then manually name and tag each one. One website is exhausting enough — let alone a whole list of them.
✅ After: Hand the URL list to your AI Agent, and it will on its own browse each website, analyze the page content, identify valuable images, understand their context, then add them to your Eagle library one by one — each with auto-generated tags and descriptions.
This is what makes AI Agents truly powerful: they don't just chat — they take action.

💡 A Quick Note: Setting up AI Agent tools (whether Skill or MCP) for the first time may take a little effort — that's totally normal. We recommend using your AI Agent to help troubleshoot any setup issues along the way. There's already plenty of detailed documentation available online — just ask your AI and it'll guide you through.
